It is not a secret but I want to say it out loud, I LOVE INSTAGRAM! I really spend a lot of time on Instagram, a huge part of my spare time (and not only LOL).

A lot of you guys have been asking me how do I modify my photos or some tips about the apps I use to get the mood you see on my Instagram account. If you’re not following me yet, I forgive you because this is your chance to start doing it by clicking here Macyfancy.

I tried many apps for photo editing, some of them were really good, some other hard to use and some, well… awful.

I think that a really good app should be easy to use and responsive, it should allow me to edit my iPhone’s photos with a touch.

Today I want to share with you my TOP 5 apps for photo editing and social media planning:

This is absolutely my favorite app! Facetune is the app that makes the magic happen! It makes all my photos look white and clean. This app is perfect for small adjustments. It is not for free but it is definitely a great investment.

VSCO it’s an amazing photo editing app, it’s FREE and it features a great camera!

The best thing about it, it’s the variety of filters. The free ones are cool enough but if you want to step up your game I would suggest you to buy the full package which is not too expensive. With the subscription, you become an exclusive member of VSCO’s community for a year which will allow you to try the new filters before they become available. Recently I started to love the A4 and S2 filters that I use to get that total white and bright look you see on my profile.

What I love about Snapseed is that you can create and customize your own style. At first, it can be a little hard to use since it is considered an app for advanced editing. With Snapseed you can control every aspect of the editing, you can choose what area you want to work on or which particular color you want to improve. You can create your personal filters and save them for later use. The best part is that it’s totally FREE.

Unum is perfect to organize your future posts, you can plan your schedule by moving your photos in order to create the perfect feed. You can also decide in advance when you would like to post your photos (tomorrow, in a week or a month maybe), which is perfect if you don’t have time every day to post the right photo at the right moment. Unum comes with a price but the extended version allows you to track your IG analytics.

Plann is the perfect alternative to UNUM give the similar features. With Plann you don’t even have grid’s limits so you can upload as many photos as you want.

All these apps that I’m using are available for Android and for IOS devices.

Now it’s your turn to make perfect photos.

How about you? What’s your favorite photo editing app? Write it in a comment below.

I have used VSCO Cam and heard about Unum. First time I hear about the other one. I usually edit my pictures on photoshop so they are already ready when they get to my phone. I use preview app just to see how my feed will look like!
