Twenty-five years old. That’s right, on August 10th I turned 25, though many people say I look younger. Birthdays for me are almost like a personal New Year’s Eve celebration, it’s like to be born again with new goals and resolutions because you can only move forward. This year I celebrated in Germany between Monaco and Berlin, two of the most beautiful European cities. If you want to know more, keep reading.
So much to see and do in such a short time, I fell in love with Monaco and its golden royal palaces, its narrow streets and its flower gardens. Me and Monaco already knew each other from last summer on my 24th birthday, it was love at first sight and I decided to replicate. I like to define it as the metropolis with heart because it is the expression of the match between ancient and modern. She has definitely entered my list of cities where I want to live.
I’am wearing this red jacket from Primark (similar here shop here), black dress with straps from Asos (shop here), my favorite black denim skirt from Bershka (shop here). To complete the outfit i added the metallic gladiator sandals from Pull&Bear, watch from Casio (shop here), sunglasses from Flight Tiger matched with the mini clutch from H&M (shop here).
STEIGENBERGER HOTEL AM KANZLERAMT
After Munich it was Berlin.
They say Berlin is always a good idea, full of life and oddity, so I was anxious to visit it. After a long 6 hour road trip we arrived at the hotel. I was lucky enough to stay at the Steigenberger Hotel for 3 nights. The room was on the fourth floor, spacious and bright thanks to the huge windows, with free mini bar and free entry to the spa, where I was able to take the sauna and enjoy a few hours of relax. In a word, AWESOME! The Steigenberger Hotel is located right next to the central station, we were just a few steps from the city center.
I can not believe that my fiancé has arranged these beautiful days alone, or rather with a little help from a rediscovered friend, Charlene. Right at midnight I could not resist so I discarded my gifts.
My day was full of events:
Address: Winsstraße 68, 10405 Berlin.
Address: Auguststraße 11-13, 10117 Berlin.
4 Afternoon. The day then continued with a relaxing rooftop spa route.
Fancy look: I’am wearing my favorite dress from Zara (shop here), a pair of whitw jeans from Bershka, on my feet metallic gladiator sandals from Pull&Bear. Accesories: a rose gold Cluse (shop here), a set of gold rings from H&M (shop here) and a pair of Flight Tiger glasses to complete te outfit.
DINNER AT MONKEY BAR- BIKINI HOTEL
The perfect end to a wonderful day could be any less than a romantic exotic dinner at the
Bikini Hotel Monkey Bar, a hotspot of Berlin’s nightlife for its cocktails but above all for the
Berlin view by night. We were given a table for two right next to the window overlooking Berlin Zoo (unfortunately the zoo lights were off, I did not see any animal). The best time to enjoy the beautiful view is the sunset for the happy hour. The ambiance was impeccable. As for the food, well, people who know me also know that I have a problem with food, lol, I always make the wrong choices. I always take what I do not like so I opted for a set of mini samples. Out of 10 only 1 I liked: Basmati rice accompanied with tomato sauce and eggplants. Luckily, my boyfriend always makes great choices, I could tame a nibble of his. At least with dessert I made the right choice!
I could not ask for better as a birthday gift: visiting a new city, a great hotel room and an amazing boyfriend!
Address: Budapester Straße 40, 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin, 10787 Berlin.
Unfortunately, in such a short time we did not see much of the city, so I can not wait to go back and see all the things this city has to offer. It has been a visit as intense as the vibrations of the city. Berlin, despite its chaos, gave me an unforgettable birthday.
Dear Berlin, “Arrivederci”.
